Vintage 1950s Outers Gunslick Rifle 30 Cal. Kit No. 477 Cleaning Kit Made in USA Vernon F. Dale and Oscar Egeland started the business in 1934, operating out of Dale's Onalaska home. The business was best known for its gun cleaning solvents and oils, although they manufactured other products for the outdoorsman. In 1935, Outers received its first government contract, manufacturing gun cleaning equipment for the FBI. Includes 12 items shown in the photos. All look to be used. Liquid solvent is 3/4 full. Metal box has cleaning procedure printed on the inside lid. Box shows wear but is in very good condition. Has a metal latch that works.
