This is the same 4oz hardener and resin found in the Brownell’s Kit. What I have used in the past as a release agent is Kiwi neutral shoe wax. Works great and you can use on your boots too. As a staining agent I have used my regular wood stain. For other stain colors I use cheap acrylic paint from your local Mart. Acraglas gel is simply the best bedding agent I’ve ever used.
