Each small bundle is made up of 16 individual wicks, then 8 small bundles are wrapped in a large bundle totaling 128 individual wicks. They are also 100% cotton, Original German Bundeswehr, Bore Cleaning Wicks are NOS – Unissued they are clean, and they have that military surplus smell to them. Simply choose the number of wicks need in your cleaning rod to clean any bore size of your rifle/shotgun/pistol. They are perfect for taking with you out to the shooting range, store them in your field kits, in your gun bags, and in your ammo container. I find that the Wicks are an excellent upgrade from the cleaning patches, the batch I have are German Army Surpluses from the 90’s.
