The Mag Well mounts to the bottom of the frame using the factory main spring pin hole. Install the long replacement pin included with purchase and Lightly adjust the set screw per fit.The Mag Well is designed for fast reloading without adding extra weight or bulk to your pistol.The Mag Well housing is made out of a super tough nylon polymer and carbon fiber mix to ensure strength and durability.The Mag Well includes a custom black oxidized pin and set screw.NOTE: DUE TO MANY DIFFERENT SHAPES & STYLES OF GRIPS, THIS MAGWELL, AS WELL AS MOST MAGWELLS ON THE MARKET, MIGHT REQUIRE SOME FITTING TO THE GRIP PANELS TO FIT YOUR 1911 PROPERLY. The Recoil Buffer Pads are A great way to prevent metal to metal contact and reduces recoil at the same time. The buffer fits the 9MM and 45 models.The recoil buffer Pad easily slides over the recoil spring guide.The Recoil Buffer Pad is made out of a high density polyurethane to ensure at least 1,000 rounds before replacement.We do not recommend the use of the recoil buffer pad on the following models: Colt Officer, Para Ordinance P12, Springfield compact models, as well as any other compact models.
